New Magazine Titles by Interest Category, 2005

The Magazine Industry Continues to Innovate

In 2005, 350 new magazines were introduced to satisfy consumers' growing need to be informed and entertained.

There were new magazines devoted to crafts and hobbies, new titles serving America's diverse population, home and shelter magazines, automotive, sports, music and epicurean titles in 2005. The variety of new magazine titles launched each year is a testament to the magazine industrys commitment to meeting the needs and interests of consumers. The following table illustrates how magazines address the wide variety of consumer interests.
