New York, NY (February 24, 2003) The winners of the 22nd Annual Kelly Awards will be revealed at the Association of National Advertisers' (ANA) Print Advertising Forum on June 19, 2003, it was announced today by Ellen Oppenheim, Executive Vice President / Chief Marketing Officer, Magazine Publishers of America (MPA). The Kelly Awards honor advertising agency creative teams and their clients whose magazine campaigns demonstrate both creative excellence and effectiveness. The awards are part of a multi-faceted initiative by the MPA to promote the vitality of magazine advertising.
"We are delighted that the ANA will host the Print Advertising Forum this year, which substantiates the power of the medium," stated Ms. Oppenheim. "This is an excellent opportunity to showcase award-winning magazine creative to a broader audience."

In addition to the awards, the MPA will launch a program of bringing exemplary magazine advertising, supplemented by a host of new materials-both printed and digital-directly to advertisers and agencies.
The Call for Entry kit is available online at www.kellyawards.org, and the deadline for entry is March 3. Entries will be judged at the Warwick Hotel in New York City on March 19 by an expert panel of judges that includes both senior-level magazine advertising clients as well as creative directors from leading advertising agencies.

PricewaterhouseCoopers will tabulate the judges' scores to determine 25 finalists. A $100,000 Grand Prize winner, Gold Kelly Award winner and Silver Kelly Award winner will be chosen based on overall scores. The MPA will announce the finalists during New York Magazine Day on April 29.
Last year's $100,000 Grand Prize winner was Carmichael Lynch for its Harley-Davidson Brand Campaign. Wieden + Kennedy won the Gold Kelly for the Nike Footwear's "Storm" campaign, and DDB Dallas took home a Silver Kelly for "Tabasco Labels."
