AMC IS THE MAGAZINE INDUSTRY'S PREMIERE EVENT

The American Magazine Conference is the official annual meeting of the consumer magazine industry. The always sold-out three-day confab, produced by MPA and the American Society of Magazine Editors, routinely brings together not just the industry’s thought leaders and innovators, but the brightest and most interesting minds of our times including Barack Obama, Sheryl Sandberg, Bill Clinton, Eric Schmidt, Arianna Huffington, Nancy Pelosi and Jeffrey Katzenberg. 

The 2010 conference took place Oct. 3-5 at the Fairmont Chicago, Millenium Park in downtown Chicago. It featured in-depth insights into the business of magazine media designed to help publishing professionals improve their bottom lines, move their brands forward and develop stronger ties with their audience.

Previous keynote speakers at AMC include: Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, TiVo CEO and President Tom Rogers, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg,  and Senator Barack Obama (2006).
