The Sebastopol, California-based O'Reilly Media publishes Make: and Craft:, both quarterlies. Make: and its website www.makezine.com are devoted solely DIY technology projects that target "resourceful people who undertake amazing projects in their backyards, basements and garages." With a "DIY Music" cover, the current issue of Make: focuses on "the euphoric delights of homemade music." Meanwhile, Craft: and website www.craftzine.com, also project-based, zero in on "highly imaginative people who are transforming traditional arts and crafts with unconventional, unexpected and even renegade techniques, materials and tools." The contents of its summer issue ranged from weaving to making a kite to how to bonsai plants.
