NEW YORK (September 22, 2011) — MPA - The Association of Magazine Media will present MPA Digital: Social Media, its second conference targeting magazine social media practitioners, at the Time & Life Building in midtown New York City on December 7, 2011. The conference program is tailored to help magazine media professionals use social media platforms to drive brand awareness, create better engagement with their audience, sell subscriptions and develop stronger ties with advertisers. Robert Michael Murray, VP, Social Media at National Geographic Society, is the event’s conference chairman.
MPA Digital: Social Media will feature a keynote presentation by Facebook’s Andy Mitchell, who is a member of the Platform Partnerships team in the company’s Strategic Partner Development division. Mitchell serves as a consultant on how media companies can best leverage the Facebook platform to deliver on media objectives.
